Scribd Alternative – Yudufreedom.com

Do you want to publish your documents or ebooks online and let your readers virtually "flip" the page while they read as shown in the screenshots below?

(Magazine style ebooks will look like this, pretty nice huh)
You simply need to upload your file to Yudufreedom.com, they’ll send a file viewing link to your email 13address after they finished converting your document. You may then send this link through email or add it to your post or web page.
It is a cool service but I admit it has its downsides too:
1. You cannot embed the document inside your post
2. Download option is not available to free publishers
3. Hyperlinks (actual URL and email addresses) are displayed upon mouseover and are highlighted when you open the page
Number 3 may or may not be a bad feature depending on your intentions. For some, it may be better than Docstoc.com where readers cannot distinguish between a blue underlined but unclickable URL and a clickable live link. And since Yudufreedom enables clickable links, it is better than Issuu.com (at least from a document marketing point of view).
Last but not least, if you want to give this service a try, don’t upload anything too personal because they don’t have a delete option yet…(I understand that if you don’t publish the links, it’s extremely hard for others to find your documents, but still don’t try to upload anything that you don’t want others to see).
