In recent years, there are more and more PLR ebooks circulating the web. They are just like traditional electronic texts – the only difference is that, as a buyer, you’ll have the right to add your own name as the author of the ebook, and sell it on yourself. These ebooks have the potential to earn you money, but only if you know how to use them properly.

How Can PLR Ebooks Make You Money?

Ebooks are big business these days. Although they’re generally more expensive than physical books, people are willing to pay thanks to the fact that they contain extremely targeted information that often solves a problem. Ebooks also satisfy the needs of those who want information quickly: you can set them up to be downloaded instantly as soon as your buyer’s payment goes through.

Buying PLR ebooks means that someone else wrote the ebook and has chosen to sell it on to a number of buyers. The price will have been significantly reduced, yet you get all of the same benefits of hiring a ghostwriter. Your research and writing will have been done for you, but often for as low as just a dollar per page of content.

In this respect, buying private label rights ebooks could be the fastest way for you to create a product to sell – at whatever price you choose – without having to do any of the upfront work.

Where To Buy PLR Ebooks

There are a number of vendors selling PLR ebooks: it’s up to you to do your research to ensure you’re buying from someone you can trust. Since ebooks are generally longer pieces of texts, they will cost more than a standard article, so find out whether you can see a sample before you pay for the ebook. If you are targeting the marketing and business niches, I strongly recommend you to check out Special Report Club. They provide really high quality PLR Ebook Packages.

Often, paying a little more upfront to buy an ebook from an original, high quality writer can be worth more than finding ebooks that have been resold a thousand times. It’ll help to make sure your ebook is more fresh in the eyes of your customer base. And you’ll also find that dealing with individual PLR sellers means that the information is more up to date than with bulk, cheap ebook packs that have been circulating for years.

Ebook And Graphics Packages

If you want to save yourself some time and extra effort, then it is possible to purchase private label rights ebooks along with graphics for your website. This may include cover graphics for the book itself, banner ads to promote the site, and even the full site design. Not all PLR sellers will offer this package, however, and you can generally expect to pay more for the privilege.

PLR or private label rights articles are a fantastic way of getting ready made, affordable content for your website, product and more. However, when buying these articles it’s important to understand how you can use them. Different PLR sellers will put different restrictions on their article packs, though these generally fall into a few popular categories. Here’s a quick guide to some of the most commonly used licenses for PLR.

Private Label Rights

Although the term “PLR” is commonly used to describe a wide range of content, in its strictest sense, private label rights means that you have the right to change the content, add your name as the author, and resell it for profit. However, there are limitations. Although different sellers may have different requirements, you’ll almost always find that you cannot sell on PLR rights to other customers.

Unrestricted Private Label Rights

This is the type of private label rights product that you CAN sell on to others, and they generally cost more. As the name suggests, it really is unrestricted, meaning you can do everything you’d do with standard PLR rights, as well as passing those rights onto your customers either by selling the articles or giving them away (it may depend on the individual terms set by the PLR seller).

Resale Rights

On top of getting private label rights for your PLR, you can also buy products with resale rights. What this means is that you CAN sell on the product for profit, but you cannot edit the content, change things around and claim authorship yourself. And you cannot pass on these rights to the people you sell it to.

Some sellers may give you master resale rights to the product, in which case you CAN pass on the resale rights to the people you sell the product onto!

How Do You Know What You’re Buying?

There is a lot of different terminology up there, and it can get confusing when you’re shopping for content and PLR! Private label rights sellers will usually do their best to help you by putting together license files. These will usually stipulate exactly what can and cannot be done with the content.

All kinds of usage rights have a number of different benefits. If you’re looking for content to create informational products or to fill up your website, then you’ll find that standard PLR – private label rights – usually fits the bill. And remember, if in doubt about how you can use the content, contact the author of the content and they’ll be happy to tell you what your rights are. This helps you to avoid any tricky gray areas regarding copyright!

When it comes to making your fortune on the internet, you’ll hear time and time again that building your list should be one of your main priorities. It basically means you’ll have a collection of names and email addresses of people who are guaranteed to be interested in what you have to offer.

The main problem with building a list is encouraging people to sign up. A few years ago it may have been easy to get people to hand over their email address in the promise of getting regular updates, but not so anymore. Nowadays you’ll need to give them an extra reason to subscribe – especially when they’re already subscribed to so many other marketers.

Some incentives to join an email list could include:

Free reports on various subjects,

Exclusive member discount codes to products or services,

Being the first to find out about your latest launches,

Free PLR products,

eBooks,

Or an eCourse (delivered in parts every few days via email) that teaches something valuable.

The Benefits Of Using Follow Up Emails

Although most marketers will choose to give something away in the first email as an immediate gift (usually a short report), they’ll often schedule a sequence of email messages to automatically build up a relationship with their new subscriber.

When this comes in the form of an eCourse, this could mean sending out a new “lesson” every other day. The first few lessons will be pure content – teaching new skills, giving out free resource links and so on. Once enough of these lessons have been sent to build up a connection, the list will include affiliate links or product promotions every few emails.

Your eCourse could be something like “how to build a blog in 7 days” or “how to cure x without drugs”. It is free information, and it offers something of genuine value.

At the same time, your eCourse is scheduled in advance and will start sending, in sequence, whether you get a new subscriber today or a year in the future. It means “hands-off” selling that allows you to take the time to focus on building new material.

Not convinced? Read the Top 10 Reasons to Use a Preloaded Autoresponder.

Where Does PLR Come In?

Many people decide against PLR for their blog content because it’s not “unique” in the eyes of the search engines. But with an email list you don’t have that problem: the content is sent out through email, which the search engines have nothing to do with. If you are not family with PLR, download this Free PLR Guide now.

This is why it’s perfectly acceptable to use autoresponder PLR for your eCourse, as long as you know it does provide that value, and that it can build trust with your readers. Just edit it to include your own links, personalize it a little and you can start building your list today!

Everyone has a “trouble” spot with their internet business.

Whether it’s not getting enough traffic, not building a big enough list, not being able to convince affiliates to promote them, not being able to overcome a technical problem or any a hundred other things, EVERYONE has a “trouble” spot that hurts their business.

I do. Other “gurus” do. You do. We all do.

Sometimes we don’t know how to do something. Other times we don’t have time to do something. And other times we just don’t want to do something.

What separates those who fail and those who succeed is not a lack of “trouble” spots, but rather the knowledge of how to handle those things that we struggle with.

The solution: get someone else to do it.

When my car tears up, I go to a mechanic. When I’ve got the flu, I see a doctor. If my son wants to learn golf, I get a golf pro to teach him a lesson.

If I’m too busy, have a lack of knowledge or just don’t want to do it myself, I don’t just let it go undone … I outsource it.

The same is said of my business. Whenever I find something that I can’t figure out (like script installations!) or don’t have time to handle on my own (like customer support) or plain old just don’t want to do it (like administrative setup stuff) I find someone else to do it.

You can do the same thing. Better still you can show others how to do the same thing and get PAID $67 per order!

A few months ago Jimmy D. Brown released a new course entitled the H.A.N.D.S. Free Formula… the ultimate course on the subject of outsourcing. It converted very well and got RAVE reviews. But Jimmy was busy developing projects to launch in January 2012 and he put the course on the back burner. When he retired all of his existing products as part of his business restart last month, it was among them.

Point being: the market is WIDE OPEN for sales of this course.

That’s a good thing for YOU … because you can now sell the course for $67 per order and keep 100% of every sale you make!

Jimmy has released PLR licensing to the course (along with the bonuses, presell report, marketing package, etc.)

You can read all about it at:
Outsourcing Your Entire Business Mega PLR Course

This is an incredible opportunity for a mid-range course that you can sell yourself. It includes PLR (private label rights) licensing to…

The 62-page main manual

Sales letter, formatted in HTML

All 7 bonuses

Package of ezine articles

24-page presell report

Solo mailing

But – there’s a catch…

Jimmy has a STRICT LIMIT on the number of licenses being sold. Only 100 licenses will ever be sold to this amazing package!

Get all the details at:

PLR stands for Private Label Rights. PLR gives those such as bloggers, network marketers and website owners the chance to have fresh material whenever they need it without them having to write it themselves. PLR is content that you can use as is or edit it and add your own perspective or “voice” into the material so it becomes unique to you.

Everyone says that content is king, but it’s fresh content that will keep visitors coming back to your website. Many simply don’t have the time to write constantly to keep up with the amount of fresh content they need for their websites.

PLR gives you the chance to create a niche site with plenty of relevant material or keep the auto-responder sending out messages, all without lifting a finger to write a single word.

Purchasing PLR is sort of like hiring a ghost writer except the articles aren’t exclusively yours and it won’t cost you a great deal of money. It is a very affordable way to enhance your websites, write a report, ebook or other informational product.

ShopForPLR.Com can save you time by supplying you with quality content when you need it, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your business.

Are you having a hard time coming up with quality content day after day or week after week? Is your site lacking visitors because you haven’t put up anything new in a while?

Or maybe you were looking into creating a niche website that centers around one topic but were unsure if you would be able to come up with the articles needing to keep it going.

It is often said that content is king. Fresh content is what will keep people coming back for more. Many are busy and simply don’t have the time to write constantly to keep up with the amount of fresh content that they need for their websites.

PLR gives people the chance to create niche sites with plenty of relevant material, keep the auto-responder sending out messages and the blog posts coming on time without lifting a finger to write a single word.

Having a constant flow of fresh material could help you to earn money in your niche. That’s where ShopForPLR.Com comes in!

All of the hard work is already done so you don’t have to, saving you time and energy so you can focus on other aspects of your business.

No backlinks or author bio’s are required. Once you purchase ShopForPLR.Com’s articles, blog posts or autoresponder emails, you can put your name as the author and you’re free to leave the content as is or you can add your own personality to them to make them unique.

Are you unsure or leery about using PLR in your business? Join ShopForPLR.Com’s PLR mailing list and receive a free copy of Alice Coaxum’s report “The ABC’s Of PLR” which explains the ins and outs of PLR.

PLR and free reprint articles have in common the fact that they are both a quick way to get quality content for your website. Both come in a wide array of topics.

However with free reprint articles you are very limited. Basically you can just copy and paste them to your website. You have to leave the author box intact and you have to name the author, thus giving them all of the credit for the article.

The author of the article gets traffic and possibly sales from your website because you are advertising for them when you place their free reprint articles on your website.

While this isn’t a bad thing, because sometimes you run across articles that you feel would greatly benefit your audience, if done moderately, you wouldn’t want all of your content to consist of someone else’s work with their name attached to it.

With PLR you are not limited because you do not have to name the author. As far as you readers are concerned, you are the author and you get all of the credit.

There isn’t an author box when you use PLR. In fact if you don’t tell anyone you are using PLR, no one else will either. How will they know? There are no identifying factors that show you are using someone else’s work.

Using PLR is like having a ghost writer at your beck and call minus the exclusivity and the huge price tag. However you can easily edit the articles and make them exclusive or unique to you alone.

If there is something that you wish to add you can do so. If there is something you don’t agree with you can either omit it or add your own opinion to the article.

You can create videos, ebooks and more from PLR. Once you purchase PLR it belongs to you. You can’t get those kind of perks with Free reprinted articles because all credit goes to the author. You can’t sell work that doesn’t belong to you without the authors permission.

Many all over the internet are utilizing affiliate marketing to either supplement an existing income or to create an income from home. Affiliate marketing is when you market affiliate products and are paid when you make a sale.

Here are four reasons that you might want to consider if you haven’t started affiliate marketing already.

1. No Start Up Costs
Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to start earning money on the internet because it costs you nothing to sign up and participate in various affiliate programs. You don’t have to worry about paying for products on a monthly basis and some affiliate programs don’t have a quota that you must reach to get paid on a monthly basis. There are even some affiliate programs that pay instantly.

2. A Wide Variety of Products
What’s your passion? Is it health, network marketing, food, self improvement or maybe another area? There are so many different types of affiliate products that you can promote that will be in the same niche as what you are already doing.

If you have a health and wellness blog, find affiliate programs that are centered around health and wellness products or if you have a website that shares recipes with your readers you can opt to use food and kitchen related affiliate programs.

If you are a network or internet marketer you might want to look for products to promote that center around helping other marketers like autoresponders, PLR and information products.

3. You Can Greatly Increase Your Income
Depending on what you’re promoting, how you promote it and if it meshes well with your niche you try to combine it with, you can create a nice income from home by using affiliate programs. Affiliate programs can be promoted alongside whatever else you are already doing.

If you’re blogging already, you can use banner advertising or article marketing to promote products to your readers while still supplying them with quality content. When someone clicks on your link or banner and makes a purchase you earn. The more this happens the more your earnings are increased.

4. Affiliate Marketers Usually Get a Large Chunk of The Profits
It’s not uncommon to see affiliate marketing programs offering 30%, 50% or even 75% of their profits to their affiliates. Why in the world would they offer up so much of their profits? The answer is quite simple … traffic. Affiliate marketers can bring in so much more traffic than the owner of the product and program can bring in by them-self .

More people promoting make the amount of traffic and sales so much greater. In exchange, affiliate program owner are happy to pay an amount that is more than fair to ones who are bringing in sales.

If you’ve been around Internet marketing a bit, you know that PLR stands for private label rights. That usually means you can buy these articles for a song and call them your own. I’d like to take that a little further for you and list out some of the pros and cons of private label rights, plus give you some help with the cons.

Pros

Using PLR articles is a quick way to add content to your niche site(s). No more time-consuming research.

You don’t have to write articles from scratch, which is a big plus if you’re not confident of your writing skills.

These articles are A LOT cheaper than hiring a ghostwriter and you don’t have to be at the mercy of the ghostwriter’s busy schedule. You can grab these articles immediately.

There are so many ways you can use PLR, and not just as content on your site. Create an ecourse, offer as a report to collect email addresses, use for your newsletter or paid niche membership site, create a PowerPoint presentation around, record as a podcast and much more.

Cons

You don’t know where to find PLR.

I can certainly recommend my favorite writers if you’d like, and you can also check at the Warrior Forum and see who people are talking about. The question comes up quite often and other marketers give their feedback.

You’ve gotten some poorly-written PLR in the past and you don’t want to make that mistake again.

I’d recommend you stay away from anything that says 100,000 free articles (or even 900 free articles) because they have a bad reputation for being, well, crap. Again it comes down to buying from reputable writers. Get on their lists so you can be notified when they’ve written fresh new PLR.

Other people have the same PLR articles you do.

It’s true you’ll get the maximum benefit out of using PLR articles if you rewrite them. If you feel you need a little help with how to rewrite quickly, easily, and with confidence, then consider this wonderful resource – How To Rewrite PLR Peggy Baron, a successful PLR writer, will take you by the hand and show you ways to rewrite your articles and she makes sure you cover all the bases to make them work for you.

There really are way more pros than cons to using PLR, and the cons can be fixed. So go get yourself some quality PLR and get busy wringing every bit of success from them.

Here’s a question that I received today. I thought it was such a valuable question that I wanted to share my response.

Dear Nicole,

I hear you talking about PLR articles, but I’m a Virtual Assistant, not an Internet Marketer. I need clients, not content.

Why should I care?

Dear Virtual Assistant:

Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to respond to your great question.

PLR content can actually help you to get more clients. And, I’ll explain how.

As someone who hires and works with a lot of Virtual Assistants in my business, I’ll tell you that I hire oftentimes based upon the knowledge that person shows just as much as what they “say” they can do.

For instance, let’s compare two Virtual Assistants (hypothetically – these aren’t real people).

Susie and Tessa.

I go to Susie’s website and she’s got three pages – including contact, services, and pricing. I look around a little and discover that Susie specializes in videos and multimedia. I think “hmmm… interesting” and then leave.

Next, I find Tessa’s website. She’s got the same pages on her website as Susie – contact, services, and pricing. It looks to me as if she also specializes in videos and multimedia. That’s not what I’m looking for, so I’m about to leave when I notice that she has a blog. On her blog, she’s got articles about how I can use video in my business and how to also use video to get more traffic and make more money. I’m interested. She obviously knows her stuff. I contact her to find out how she can help me to get more traffic with my existing videos – and to brainstorm more videos that I can incorporate into my business on an ongoing basis.

Tessa got my business. Susie did not.

Why? Because Tessa did some things right.

She showed her knowledge.

She demonstrated that she understands marketing by having a blog.

She made me think about my business.

She seemed like a person who I’d like to work with.

How does this apply to PLR content? Easy.

Susie could have had my business if she had purchased some great quality PLR content and published it on her blog. Of course, as always, I would recommend that Susie use the content as a starting point only and then add her own ideas and examples into it to make it uniquely hers. But, the important thing is that she could have had an active blog offering great value to potential new customers that showcased her talent and made people desperate to hire her.

And, she could have done it for under $20.

Would you like to boost your blog content, impress potential new clients, and become the recognized expert in your niche? Check out this great PLR site to get started. Be sure to sign up for the notification list so you don’t miss a thing!

Every now and then, for whatever reason, you go wandering through that no-man’s land you call your computer hard drive. You find a plethora of information – personal stuff like the family holiday letter from the past 4 years, all your photos, maybe even a digital copy of your will (or is that last one just me?)

But mostly, there is a lot of Internet marketing information on your hard drive. Right? You’ve got ebooks and reports, free and paid for that you’ve learned a lot of useful things from. Then you’ve got a ton of PLR articles you’ve never used. Ok, you’ve been meaning to use the articles and you know they’ll give you mega-content and supercharge your niche, but… you haven’t done it.

Why?

It’s either because you don’t know how to rewrite PLR articles to make them your own, or you think it’s going to take you forever to customize them.

I’ve got your back.

Peggy Baron, a PLR writer since 2008, has put out an 80+ page ebook that shows you, not just tells you, how to rewrite your PLR articles. It’s aptly named How To Rewrite PLR. She gives examples and asks you to try some sample rewrites yourself so you can get the hang of it and see how easy it can be.

When you’ve finished with this ebook, you should be rewriting PLR articles with ease, and putting them to work for you. I imagine you’ll like having your niche site with lots of meaty content? Or the articles turned into an ecourse for subscribers? Or….?

How To Rewrite PLR also shows you how to rewrite a PLR report to make it your own. Just think what you could do with that? Set it up as an optin to collect email addresses and grow your list, sell it, give it away to your list and make them happy, include it as a bonus, enter it in a giveaway. There are lots of things you can do with a new and improved report.

Check out the ebook, then go forth and succeed with your Internet marketing.

Using PLR articles for your content needs is a huge time-saver and can really help you grow your niche quickly. It can help you become the expert, build your brand, gain exposure, sell affiliate products and sell your own products.

But to get the most out of PLR, you’ve got to think it through and have a strategy. Here are 3 of the most common mistakes I see people making:

#3 No clear purpose for the PLR.

Why did you purchase the PLR? You might have picked it up to use in the near future and that’s fine as long as you do plan to use it. Set a goal, like you’ll start using it right after your current project is completed.

What do you want it to do for you? Every piece should have a purpose and it’s good to know before you use it. Maybe you want to put it on your blog to help pre-sell an affiliate product. Or perhaps you want to incorporate the whole pack as an email ecourse to get optin subscribers. Any content you use should have a call to action or purpose.

#2 Buying and not using the PLR at all.

We’re all guilty of this at times. When you pick up a new batch of quality PLR, think of them as little diamonds in the rough, just waiting for you to polish them up and put them on display. Suddenly your $1/page PLR articles are looking pretty good! Otherwise, they’re just rocks taking up space.

#1 Using it “as is”.

Don’t be that girl who’s wearing the same dress as 2 other girls at the same party. How does that make you feel? Like a copycat. Does it impress anyone? Nope.

Change your PLR, make it better, make it unique. Many people don’t change their PLR articles because they either don’t know how or think it’s going to take too long. If that’s how you feel, I think you should pick up Peggy Baron’s How To Rewrite PLR. She’ll show you different ways to rewrite, giving you lots of examples, and how to add value. She even gets into how to rewrite and add value and personality to PLR reports.

If you’re making any of these 3 common mistakes with PLR, it’s not too late to change it up.
Affiliate marketing is a great way to earn without dealing with the pains of handling the manufacture, storage and shipment of the actual product. It also requires considerably less monetary investment and thus smaller margins for loss. However, when handled correctly, affiliate marketing can provide large pay-outs and greater room for growth which cannot be found in most 9-5 jobs.

Presenting review articles is one of the most effective ways of boosting interest for your affiliate products.

Buyers Are Ready to Buy

Individuals who go through product reviews are looking to buy a product; they want information and reassurance that they are picking the right merchandise. If one can readily present honest and positive reviews to the buyer then a sale is almost always in the bag.

Content Is King

This particular phrase is a familiar motto for all bloggers, affiliate marketers and site masters. Content dictates the amount of traffic to the site and the number of clients pulled in. While it is true that a product’s advertising success is affected by programming factors like search engine optimization, paid traffic generation, keyword use and link building, the content read by the potential client still determines the sale. Computers do not buy products, people do, and people respond to informative articles that will tell them what they want to know in a voice that does not reek of hype or sales-pitch. This is where product reviews come in, objective reviews in a genuine tone will direct the action that clients will take.

Feature Listings Are Boring

Product reviews do more than just list features; they also specify how the product benefits the users. This is very important when one is trying to make a sale because more often than not, individuals do not stop and think of the implications of certain features. Heavy jargon may also turn them off. Product reviews gives the details on how certain attributes or features could be helpful. Reviews specify how a product can improve the quality of one’s life and this is what boosts sales.

Hits Two Birds With One Stone

Product reviews are attractive to search engines and to potential clients. Writing about a specific product and all the pertinent information about it attracts search engine bots and people as well. Potential buyers go straight to review sites and usually just skim through advertising articles. When the product reviews are very helpful in offering objective information, visitors are likely to follow the link of the affiliate products you have posted. Good reviews will also make your site the first stop for satisfied visitors looking for new things to purchase.

Building Trust

Reviews aim to study a product, see its pros and cons, criticize its features and offer a general conclusion. This type of content inspires trust in consumers who are immediately wary of promotional articles. Prospective buyers put more weight in product reviews because they are seen as objective and honest appraisals. Honest assessments encourage individuals to buy because they believe in the judgment of impartial people.

Wrapping things up,

And product reviews aren’t just for physical in hand products, these things apply for digital products as well. You can review anything from the new pen you bought, to your website hosting, to that nifty kitchen gadget, to that big e-course you just took. People like to know what other people are buying and whether or not they liked it, it helps make their buying decision easier, which of course makes your affiliate sale painlessly easy and your commissions check bigger.

Recently, in an interview, I was asked this question:

“Can you explode any misconceptions that stop people from using PLR content?”

Here is my answer.

There are four main myths that I run into regularly.

1. The biggest misconception that people have is that all PLR is crap.

2. The second biggest misconception is that ghostwriters are not good writers. We can even take that a step further and add that people assume they are stupid, taken advantage of, and/or they don’t speak English as their native language.

3. The third misconception is that using PLR takes away from your expert status.

4. The fourth misconception is that PLR and ghostwriting are somehow dishonest.

Let’s run through those one by one.

Myth #1: All PLR is Crap.

If you go back to about 2003, then I’d say that you are absolutely correct. Nearly all PLR at that time was junk. There may have been a few exceptions, but I wouldn’t touch most of that PLR content with a 10-foot pole.

We’ve made great strides in the last few years to raise the standards for what is acceptable and what is not in the PLR world. I’d like to think that I was one of the leaders in that movement.

Myth #2: Ghostwriters are Stupid.

I’ve got to tell you that I’ve worked with some ghostwriters who are brilliant in many ways. Oftentimes, they’re fabulous communicators, smart marketers, and hard working entrepreneurs. And, yes, they’re qualified to write quality information on many topics on the internet.

For instance, for a long time, I had a nurse writing my health PLR articles. I’ve also got a writer who graduated from Stanford University, who writes for several popular print magazines, and is a published author. Yes, she has her own book. And, another who had a career as a Political Speech Writer (before having children). That’s just three of my writers. They’re all amazing people, each with a variety of skills and life experience.

To assume they aren’t capable of writing quality content would be just silly.

I don’t just go to eLance.com and take the lowest bidder. To think that’s how all PLR sites work would certainly be a misconception.

Myth #3: You’re Not a “Real” Expert if you Use PLR.

The other misconception is that using PLR articles takes away your own value as the expert. That you are somehow cheating, plagiarizing, or that you’re a phony if you use PLR.

If ONLY you could see my customer list. It reads like the “Who’s who of Successful Online Business Owners”.

Business is all about cutting costs while increasing the bottom line. What better example is there than PLR content?

If you use PLR articles as drafts, they are delivered to you, ready for you, as the expert, to add your unique thoughts to them.

If you look at PLR like that – you can still keep your personality in your brand – and your sanity at the same time.

Myth #4: Using Ghostwriters or PLR is Cheating.

Most biographies in the bookstores are written by ghostwriters.

Most of the famous orations from our history were written by someone other than the public figure who gave the speech.

It’s not cheating to get help. It’s smart business.

Nicole Dean is the owner of www.EasyPLR.com – where you’ll find high-quality PLR articles sold in very limited quantities. The PLR articles at EasyPLR are professionally written and professionally edited — top quality at an affordable price.

If the number of backlinking services that have sprung up on the Internet in the last few years is any indication, having lots of links pointing to your site is an important component of off-site SEO. Unfortunately, most of these services are simply providing low-quality, spammy links that will soon either vanish or become so devalued by the search engines as to be made worthless. The folks that sell these kinds of services believe that quantity trumps quality, but I’m not buying that argument, and neither should you.

Rather than having 100 spammy forum profile links that are going to get deleted as soon as the forum owner gets wise to the abuse, wouldn’t it make more sense to have 10 quality incoming links from sites that are actually related to your niche? Not only will the search spiders lend more weight to good quality links, but actual people will see them and click on them. Remember people? Instead of cluttering up the Internet with more and more junk, let’s generate some links your potential customers will find useful.

Of course, backlinks have to have a home, and for most of them, that home is within good content. The reason for that is because the search bots look at what the page is about (among other things) when determining how much weight to give to your link. If you have a link to a gardening site on a page about football, it won’t be worth quite as much link juice as that same link appearing on a page about roses. So how do you make sure the page your link lives on is relevant? Simple. You provide the content.

Now I know you’re familiar with content. Chances are good you spend a great deal of time on content generation already. And frankly, the thought of spending even more time at the keyboard probably makes your hands cramp and your eyes cross. Private label rights articles give you all the benefits of good content without all the work of writing it. And PLR is perfect for backlinking.
Here’s how it works.

Pick up a pack of articles or blog posts or even an eBook from your favorite PLR seller. Take one of the articles and do a quick rewrite. Change the title, rework the first and last paragraphs, rearrange the middle section a bit, and make sure the grammar and style matches your own. Don’t spend a lot of time on this. It should take you no more than 10 minutes.

Now, head over to your Blogger blog, WordPress.com blog, HubPages account, or Squidoo lens and post your new article with relevant links back to your site. Be sure you read the terms of service of these free blog providers, though, because they can be picky about what they will and won’t allow you to link to. WordPress.com, for example, does not allow links to affiliate offers.

You can also save your content as pdf files and upload them to any number of free file sharing sites, like GetFreeeBooks.com or e-Library.net. Remember, pdf files are read and indexed by Google, so those anchor-text links count. You can also host eBooks on your own site simply by uploading them to your server and building a page of free resources containing links to your eBooks.

Next, take your articles and break them up into bite-sized pieces you can use as forum posts, Tweets, Facebook fanpage content, and even blog comments. Just make sure your content is relevant and contributes to the conversation. Simply posting random article snippets to someone’s blog will get you marked as a spammer, and reasonably so.

Finally, don’t forget about audio and video. Podcast directories, video-hosting sites like YouTube and Flickr, and slideshow hosts like SlideShare all allow links both in the content and in your profile, and some allow links alongside your video or audio. While you might not always get the benefit of an anchor-text link, you will get more exposure for you and your content.

Even if you don’t want to post private label rights articles to your own blog, there is no reason not to take advantage of this inexpensive and efficient content-creation system. Backlinking doesn’t have to be a chore, and it doesn’t have to leave you feeling like a spammer. Using private label rights articles for backlinks is cost-effective, efficient, and helps establish you as an authority on your subject.

1.	Create an Awesome Squeeze Page — Your squeeze page should be very simple and give your visitors only one option, which is to sign up for your Newsletter. Your squeeze page should be clean, with few graphics, and remember to sell benefits of signing up. They want to know what do they get for signing up, and why should they sign up. Tell them what the benefits are for signing up for your newsletter. Tell your visitors on your squeeze page the what, why, when, where and how to sign up for your newsletter by letting them know what they get when they do.

2.	Offer Freebies — Offer something of value in exchange for your visitor signing up for your email list. Give them something valuable that is a good representation of your work such as: a free report, free eBook, free templates, free widgets, free graphics, free how-to guide, free video tutorial, free sample, free ecourse, in addition to, your free newsletter which will be of course, full of more valuable freebies.

3.	Use Pay Per Click — One of the very best uses of pay per click advertising is with list building. If you want to build your list fast you will need to invest in pay per click advertising. Make sure you have dealt with the issues above in terms of your squeeze page and freebies first then explore using Facebook ads and Google adwords which are very easy to break into with a low cost of entry. In fact if you’ve never tried Google adwords before, sign up with Google Places and you’ll quickly receive free coupons in the mail.

4.	Cross Promote — Promote your email list sign up deals across all marketing efforts, Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media including your blog. Don’t forget to put an opt in list on your website too. Ask subscribers to pass on your newsletter to others and consider sharing “Thank You” space with those who offer complementary services. For instance if you know someone who sales a complementary service or product to yours ask if you can put your newsletter sign up box in their thank you page and do the same for them.

5.	Deliver Quality — Once you get people to sign up for your list, and you give them your freebie, make sure you keep them on your list by delivering quality content that your subscribers can use, this can be content you create yourself, hire a ghostwriter to write for you, or high quality PLR articles that you modify to suit your needs. It is less expensive to keep a subscriber than find a subscriber so be very appreciative of those who stick around to actually read your messages, and participate in your community by taking the time to give them above par quality.

Grocery stores do it. Vitamin supplement sellers do it. Even appliance manufacturers do it. And now online business owners are taking advantage of this low-cost product creation method as well. I’m talking about using private label merchandise.

If you’ve ever bought store-brand canned goods, blue jeans, or a refrigerator, you probably are aware of how private label rights works. Basically, the store buys a product – let’s use ice cream as an example – and pays the manufacturer to place the store’s label on the item. They are buying the right to sell another manufacturer’s item as their own. It’s a proven way of lowering manufacturing costs and increasing profits, and as an Internet marketer, you’re missing out if you’re not taking advantage of private label rights content.

How PLR Works

Just like in our ice cream example, when you buy PLR you buy the right to call it your own. You don’t have to worry about giving attribution to the author, or providing a link back to his or her site. You don’t have to – and probably shouldn’t – even acknowledge that the article began life as PLR. In other words, you can get lots of content for your website or blog at a low price, and with very little work.

Read the License

Before buying – or using – private label rights content, be sure to read the license. Most sellers place very few restrictions on how their products are used, though there are a few standard rules you need to consider. Typically, you can do anything you like with PLR, including rewriting it, adding your name as the author, changing the format, combining it with other articles to make a longer work, or breaking a long piece into smaller parts.

What you generally cannot do with PLR is resell it as PLR, although there are some sellers who allow this as well. Again, make sure you read the license, and when in doubt, ask the seller about any specific usages you’re not sure of.

Change the Content

Once you’ve purchased your private label rights articles, it’s important that you change them to suit your writing style and content needs. You may have purchased the highest-quality PLR available, but it still is not written with your unique audience in mind.

Start by rewriting the title. The title’s job is to get site visitors to read the article. It must provide a compelling synopsis of the article itself, with a clear reason to keep reading. It’s also a good idea to include the primary keyword in the title, so the search engines can find you.

If you have time, a line-by-line rewrite can turn PLR into a unique article with no worries you’ll find your content on someone else’s site. However, busy marketers often don’t have time for a complete overhaul. In that case, rewriting the first and last paragraphs will make the article fit better with your style of writing.

Abide by the Terms of Service of other Sites

Obviously, if you’re using PLR on your own site or in your newsletter, terms of service don’t come into play. However, if you’re going to use PLR on other sites such as article directories, Squidoo, HubPages, or even a self-publishing platform like Create Space, you need to be aware of any restrictions they place on PLR content.

Some article directories, most notably EzineArticles.com, expressly forbid the use of private label rights articles, and will terminate your account if they find you in violation of this rule. Their reasoning is that so many PLR buyers don’t change the content at all, that they run the risk of having many versions of the exact same article on their site. This is a waste of their resources, and does not offer value to their readers, so you can understand why they forbid the use of PLR content.

Using private label rights articles can make content creation easier and less costly, in terms of both time and money spent. To make working with PLR even easier, be sure to start with quality content purchased from reputable vendors. With just a few packaging changes, you can turn PLR content into unique, useful articles your readers will enjoy.
Getting a new niche affiliate business off the ground is time consuming – especially for first-time affiliates. The advice you hear sounds so simple: Put up a website; write some content; build a list; promote affiliate products; profit! But in reality, those few simple steps require a lot of work.

Sure, building a website is only a five-minute job if you’re using WordPress with a readily available theme, but that’s where most new marketers get stuck. When it comes to adding content and setting up a workable sales funnel, they hit a roadblock. Private label products can help new marketers get past this issue so they can start making money.

Rather than spending hours (or days, or weeks!) researching your subject just to write a few blog posts and maybe a short report to give away, invest in a few high-quality PLR packages you can reformat to fit your needs. For example, you can purchase a private label rights eBook and use each section as a blog post. When you add your own thoughts and comments to the content, even a relatively short eBook can quickly turn into enough blog posts to keep your blog active for months.

Next, grab a quality private label rights article package and compile the articles into a special report you can give away to build your mailing list. Simply copy and paste all the articles into a Word document and rearrange them so the content flows logically. Then edit slightly to reflect your unique views on the subject, add a cover, and save as a pdf file.

Once you have your giveaway in place, it’s time to load your autoresponder with content. You can purchase autoresponder series PLR, or you can repurpose blog posts or short articles. Schedule your messages to go out automatically every three to seven days to keep your subscribers engaged. Like your pre-scheduled blog posts, this is a set-it-and-forget-it method. Once you’ve loaded your series, you won’t have to look at it again except to send out timely broadcast messages that aren’t a part of your series.

To drive traffic to your new site, you can again look for assistance from private label products.

Use private label content for article marketing.

Use PLR articles on Squidoo lenses, Blogger sites, and other web 2.0 properties.

Turn PLR content into videos and distribute them via YouTube.

Reformat private label rights articles into short eBooks and distribute through free file sharing sites.

Use short snippets from private label products as content for Facebook fan pages, on Twitter, and in niche forums.

Affiliate marketing can be a lucrative business, but getting started can be daunting. By using private label products, you can not only dramatically speed up site development time, you can also quickly discover if a niche is of interest to you and if it has the potential to be profitable.
