How to Use Free PDF Converter Neevia to Solve A Scribd’s iPaper Conversion Problem

Some Scribd users may be familiar with the following conversion problem after uploading their documents to their Scribd account:
The characters cannot be decoded/converted properly during the ipaper conversion. Although this problem can be resolved by having the readers download the document to local drive, but then what’s the point of having this ipaper feature if the document cannot be displayed properly online?
You may have used a free pdf converter called Neevia before. Do you know that you can upload a pdf file and let Neevia convert it into an "ipaper-friendly" pdf version? You don’t have to change any settings, just leave everything at its default values (see screenshot below) and hit "Upload and Convert" button.
Neevia’s free pdf converter has also helped me resolve another iPaper conversion problem that I experienced before. It seems that Scribd has just upgraded(?) so I’m not sure if that problem still exists. It’s about iPaper rejecting pdf files, displaying an error message saying that the pdf may be password protected, the file was too big, etc. even though I know that my files aren’t.
